Paolo has been Head of the Logistics and Customer Care Department of HELM Italia for over 22 years now. Throughout his career he has witnessed the rapid growth of the Company both in terms of turnover and personnel. He recognizes the importance of cooperation and mutual respect to guarantee efficiency and quality in the Company’s daily work.

Almost 22 years have passed since Paolo joined HELM Italia. Today he manages the Company’s entire logistics processes together with his team. He effectively coordinates each phase involved, from product sourcing through to invoicing. “HELM gives me the possibility to manage our Logistics area actively, and to provide practical and effective support to all our commercial activities.”

Paolo and his team make an essential contribution to the start-up of a potential new business venture by submitting detailed evaluations in order to demonstrate the venture’s feasibility in logistics terms. They support the venture’s development by examining every single aspect with the goal of guaranteeing customers an efficient and comprehensive service.

“Customer Satisfaction is our main strength, and assuring an optimal Logistics service is a key aspect of our work at HELM Italia”, Paolo proudly affirms. “Taking prompt and direct action to solve any possible non-compliance issues is an integral part of fulfilling our quality standards, and we rigorously comply with strict quality processes.”

Every unexpected situation represents a worthwhile opportunity for the team to discuss, analyse and work out distinct and various solutions. “Every morning we organise our work, identify the urgent issues and set up the daily action plan in order to achieve our main goal – Customer Satisfaction”, Paolo says. “We are able to satisfy the most complex requirements, such as tight delivery dates, in-process changes, and emergency supply requests. I still remember what a customer said to me in a desperate moment: “We’re contacting you because we are sure you will be able to supply us with the product by tomorrow”. He was right: the following day at 10:30 a.m. our truck began unloading at his depot.

Paolo transmits his know-how to his team, and together with his colleagues he faces all the highly varied challenges the logistics field can present on a daily basis. “Our work is based on sharing – so we organise, manage and handle all our tasks together”, he explains. “Our constant presence and availability in every situation and all circumstances contributes to the progress of our learning and growth processes.”
